Christina Luo

Christina is a class of 2023 at Princeton who plans to study Economics with certificates in finance and dance. She's lived in Atlanta, GA all her life (so yes, she does unironically say "y'all") where she trained in competitive gymnastics from age 7 to 10. When her coach told her she'd have to start doing back handsprings on the beam, she chickened out, took up ballet at Morningstar Dance Academy of Atlanta, and has been dancing ever since. She has competed ballet and contemporary solos at several competitions (eg. YAGP, WBC, IDC, UBC) and has had the privilege of studying under teachers from ABT, Washington Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Beijing Dance Academy, and many more. Outside of dance, Christina's a big fan of online shopping and watching anime. On campus, she is super excited to be a part of both Princeton University Ballet and Bodyhype and hopes to one day be able to do hip hop without looking entirely ridiculous.
