BodyHype is proud to be raising funds for Housing Initiatives of Princeton!
Housing Initiatives of Princeton (HIP), is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability to build a sustainable future through stable housing, better employment and finances, and a network of support services. HIP provides transitional housing, general rental assistance, and security deposit assistance to low-income working families and individuals facing homelessness. HIP’s programs help these individuals and families achieve more economic security, life stability, and permanent homes of their own.
Last semester, we raised over $3.6K for Princeton Mutual Aid; help us reach our goal of $3K this semester! Venmo @BH4Service, or we will also have a cash donation box as well as a live auction at each show!

Princeton Mutual Aid (PMA) is a local grassroots organization aiming to uplift marginalized communities and individuals in the local community. Founded in March 2020 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, PMA’s has been involved in COVID relief distribution, dispersion of cash assistance, advocacy for racial justice and reproductive freedom, and much more.

BodyHype is proud to be raising funds for The Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund.
Started in Princeton and now based out of Trenton, the LALDEF’s mission is to remedy “the root causes of immigrant marginalization” by facilitating access to health care, education and legal representation. They primarily work in providing bilingual services in retaining the legal status for immigrants, providing specific assistance for the youth, and helping to integrate the immigrant community into the Trenton area.

For MIRAGE, we are proud to have raised funds for March For Our Lives, as we take pride in a movement started by Gen Z that is tackling an issue so pertinent to our lives. We dedicate this fundraiser to the victims of the recent mass shootings in Colorado Springs, Chesapeake, VA, the University of Virginia, and anyone else who is among the 316 people, on average, affected by gun violence each day.
Thanks to your generosity, BodyHype was able to donate $4267.36 to @marchforourlives, surpassing our goal of $2.5K. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser and supported this incredible cause!

For DIMENSION, BodyHype wanted to use our performance as an opportunity to give back and dance for a cause. As a company, we strive to be advocates for justice, equality, and dignity and live by the values of anti-racism. By supporting Color of Change, we wanted to support their mission and join the fight in creating a just world that dismantles structural violence against Black, Indigenous, people of color.
Through your generosity, BodyHype was able to donate $2,317.07 to @colorofchange. Thank you to everyone who contributed to help us support this very important cause!

BodyHype is thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Culture Shock Los Angeles to host a seven course workshop series on the history of Hip Hop. Culture Shock LA is a nonprofit Hip Hop dance organization dedicated to dance education, community empowerment, professional entertainment, and the preservation of Hip Hop culture. Running from Oct. 1st to Nov. 19th, this series features classes that combines dance and discussion to explore a range of topics/styles from implicit bias to vogueing.
BodyHype is so grateful to Culture Shock LA for bringing their invaluable knowledge to Princeton! We would also like to thank Princeton ODUS for funding and supporting this initiative.
